A Self-Contained Modern Township

Eri Town, planned for Umuobiara, is envisioned as a self-contained modern township and a model to be replicated across Alaigbo. It will feature well-structured neighborhoods—including residential areas, townhouses, and commercial districts—designed to meet the needs of today’s society.

The residential zones will offer a range of options: apartments, bungalows, and duplexes, available for rent or purchase. Mixed-use areas will combine restaurants, shops, and cafés with wide brick walkways and street lighting, creating vibrant, safe, and walkable communities.

Community essentials will include grocery stores, supermarkets, open-air markets, a library, a hospital, post office, and rentable office spaces. Leisure and tourism are at the heart of the plan, with parks, recreation centers, a waterpark, tourist hotels, a cinema, sports fields, and a gas station—all anchored by an ultra-modern downtown. The downtown district will also host Alaigbo’s own Silicon Valley, designed to attract high-tech companies, startups, and innovation hubs. 

On the outskirts, zoning will support manufacturing factories and industrial farming, driving both employment and self-sufficiency.
